City of Madison Engineering Locker Room Renovation

When the City of Madison Engineering division needed a locker room that could keep up with their team, they turned to Iconica for a full renovation. The result? A modern, functional space built to serve the people who keep our city running.

What Changed

The City of Madison Engineering division’s locker room was ready for a change. This renovation transformed the existing space into a larger, more functional facility — one centered around private showers, individual changing rooms, and single-use restrooms designed for the team’s everyday needs.

Iconica’s construction team managed the full project scope, from mechanical rough-ins and CMU wall installation through final fixture placement. The project delivered:

  • ADA-compliant showers
  • Private changing rooms
  • Single-use restrooms
  • Updated lockers throughout
  • All-new HVAC, fire protection, electrical, and plumbing systems

How We Built It

Iconica’s team was hands-on every step of the way. With a dedicated project manager and superintendent on site managing subcontractors and coordinating the overall project, we also self-performed excavation, foundation block wall, solid-surface shower walls, and ceiling for ADA-compliant showers, and finish carpentry for bathroom accessories. That mix of in-house work and tight subcontractor oversight led to better coordination, stronger quality control, and a project that stayed on track from start to finish.

See It in Action

We documented the project from start to finish in a three-part video series.
