Vicino Apartments: A 50-Unit Build in the Heart of Madison
Just steps from Camp Randall on Regent Street, Vicino Apartments brought new workforce housing to Madison’s Greenbush neighborhood through a five-story, 50-unit redevelopment project.
Iconica served as general contractor for Wisconsin Housing Preservation Corp., helping transform the site from demolition through final completion.

About the Project
The 62,000-square-foot development includes 50 residential units, underground precast parking, a rooftop terrace, and ground-floor commercial space with an interior build-out underway by Iconica for a soon-to-be barber shop — all within one of Madison’s most active and walkable neighborhoods.
One of the most unique parts of the project is its name. “Vicino” is Italian for “neighbor,” a fitting choice for a building that brings people closer to the heart of Madison and the surrounding community.
