Learning & Leadership at the AIA Women’s Leadership Summit

This year, Iconica sent architect Abby Linley to the AIA Women’s Leadership Summit in Atlanta, a national event championing women in architecture and shaping the future of leadership in the profession. We were proud to have her representing Iconica and connecting with peers from across the country.

Over the three-day Summit, Abby attended three keynotes, seven breakout sessions, networking lunches, a celebration dinner at the Georgia Aquarium, and even participated in a ‘Speed Mentoring’ 2-mile run through downtown Atlanta with fellow conference attendees.

“Being surrounded by so many talented women was energizing. I came home with new ideas, new connections, and a renewed sense of purpose in my work.”

Following the conference, Abby hosted a lunch-and-learn at Iconica, sharing her key takeaways and the moments that inspired her most. Her insights sparked meaningful conversations and encouraged the team to think about how we can continue fostering growth, mentorship, and leadership opportunities for women at every stage of their careers.

We believe in supporting continuous learning, celebrating our people, and creating an environment where everyone can grow and thrive. Abby’s experience at the Summit is a reminder of how powerful shared learning can be — both for the individual and for the team.
