Meet Iconica Executive Assistant Jennifer Kelly

At Iconica, we believe that every great project starts with a great team—and one of the people quietly powering our day-to-day success is Jennifer Kelly, our Executive Assistant. Jennifer isn’t just the organizational force behind many calendars and meetings, she’s also the caretaker of our digital asset management system, a friendly face for new hires, and a champion of thoughtful, team-centered support.

Mastering Digital Asset Management Behind the Scenes

Something most may not know about Jennifer’s role is that she is the person behind one of Iconica’s most critical creative tools: our digital asset management system. From logos and headshots to graphics, videos, and project photos, Jennifer implemented and maintains a centralized, searchable library that integrates seamlessly with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

“It’s one of those behind-the-scenes things that keeps everything running smoothly,” she explains. “It makes it easy to quickly find what we need for proposals, social media, and other creative projects.”

The digital asset management system doesn’t just save time and streamline workflows; it also plays a big role in keeping our brand consistent across teams and platforms. It’s a go-to resource that helps ensure our marketing and social media materials are polished and visually cohesive.

A Passion for People and Helping Others Thrive

What truly motivates Jennifer is helping others succeed. From assisting leadership to supporting project teams, she finds fulfillment in helping colleagues reach their goals. One area that stands out to her is helping onboard new employees and interns—where her impact is immediately felt.

“I’ve worked on everything from organizing the onboarding checklist and customizing training plans to coordinating mentorship programs and creating reference materials,” Jennifer says. “It’s really rewarding to hear new hires say that their fist couple of weeks not only felt welcoming but also well-planned and informative.”

She brings this same care to her role in proposal development, where she helps tell Iconica’s story in a way that’s engaging and tailored to each client.

“I like to make proposals feel thoughtful and tailored, not just polished, but personal,” she shares. “I start by pulling out all the key details and requirements of the project so the team is aligned and we don’t miss anything.”

Curiosity, Connection, and Lifelong Learning

Jennifer’s role offers a unique view into many different departments across Iconica—a part of the job she truly values. She often gets a glimpse into the roles of many others and appreciates the chance to constantly learn from them as a result.

“I’m always curious and love learning new things,” she says, “Getting to see how others approach their work helps me keep growing.”

That drive to learn goes back to an early lesson she still carries with her today: “Never be afraid to ask questions—even if you have to ask the same question more than once.” Jennifer says that learning from others and accepting feedback has greatly impacted how she has grown in her roles.

Life Beyond the Office: A Photographer’s Eye

Outside of work, Jennifer finds joy in photography. Whether she’s photographing the shoreline of the Great Lakes or capturing the minute details of insects and plants through macro photography, she brings the same attention to detail and sense of wonder to her creative pursuits.

“There’s something amazing about the tiny details you’d never notice otherwise,” she says. “Once I retire, I’m excited to travel more freely and continue exploring the world through my lens.”

One of her favorite shots, a photo of Anderson Dock in Ephraim, Wisconsin, is now framed and hanging on a colleague’s wall.
